What is included in the free plan?
Personal Starter is free. It includes 15 GB of storage, attachments up to 100 MB, and up to 200 emails sent per day and 3,000 per month. Mail, calendar, contacts, mail rules and Akera Intelligence are included. No card is required to sign up.
Is Akera Intelligence included on every plan?
Yes. Akera Intelligence is included on every plan, including the free plan, at no extra charge. It searches your mail, calendar and contacts and shows the emails it used for each answer. Intelligence asks before it moves, labels or archives messages. It does not send mail or permanently delete anything on its own.
Intelligence runs on Akera-operated infrastructure. You can turn it off in Settings.
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically at the current price unless you cancel before renewal. Business plans are billed per user. Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel from Subscription settings in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep full access until then.
If you cancel an annual plan within 14 days of the initial purchase and have not materially relied on paid-only features, we refund the prorated unused portion on request. Monthly plans are not refundable by default.
Can I change plans later?
You can start on the free plan and move to a paid plan when you need more. Manage your subscription from Subscription settings in the app, which opens your billing portal. For business accounts, subscription changes are made by your domain administrator.

Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Business plans. You enter your domain, add the DNS records Akera provides, verify them and create the administrator account. Personal plans use an @akeramail.com address.
Where is my data stored?
Mail and attachments are stored in the United States. Mail is encrypted in transit and at rest. It is not end-to-end encrypted. The providers we use are listed on the Subprocessors page.
